When you buy some MAC products you're not paying a lot more than the most expensive drugstore product and getting high end (ie lipsticks). Some people just want to wear high end don't ask me why. we have a lab/pitt mix that is an indoor dog and has developed a skin condition on her back that goes all the way down to her tail. we have tried antibiotic ointment, anti itch doggie shampoo and medicated shampoo from the vet and it still seems to drive her crazy. After that was over... I caught him staring at me. That went on for the rest of the school year. While we were at a week long camp(in May), he was in my group, one thing on my mind- oh joy... I told this kid who I joke around with a lot that I, jokingly, hated him, the guy who I'm asking the question about(who I'll nickname 'boy') was behind me talking to a guy. Boy then said, 'you don't hate me, right?'. Confused I said "no.. you're alright." that was odd. On the last day of school, Boy walked up to me blushing and was going to say something, but then walked away.(I know it's long, bare with me!) He has been in 4 of my classes(not including 6th grade) during the course of middle school, and has been my project partner once, and we barely talked to each other during that time, or during middle school at all. Any stretches/exercises I could try before going to the doctors for a possible hernia?

I'm a young guy (21) and in better than average shape. I train for marathons, eat healthy, do mild weight lifting, and generally stay in shape. Today I was playing soccer with a bunch of friends and I moved quickly one direction and felt like I pulled a groin muscle but when I tried to stretch it I couldn't seem to fix the issue. Now its a good 7 hrs later and my lower right abdomen hurts when I press on it and when I lay on my back. It hurts down into my scrotum a bit too but mostly just above it on my abdomen. I checked everything out and I don't have any bumps or anything like it's a hernia but the location and type of pain match all the descriptions of a inguinal hernia that I have seen. I'm a busy guy and frankly think some doctors in my area are worthless and prefer to self medicate if possible. Does this sound like a hernia even though I'm in good shape? If it isn't a hernia what else might it be? What are some stretches or home remedies I could try for a few days to see if it improves? Also, if I end up having a hernia is surgery going to permanently debilitate me from being a highly active athlete for the rest of my life? The best thing to do is see you dentist. I know you can't get there now so you will have to resort to another alternative. I would start with 2 tylenol every 4 hours, I would also rotate that with ibuprofen. You can take up to 800 milligrams of ibuprofen every 8 hours. Some other tips: gargle with warm salt water, press a cold compress against your face. I have found the cold compress works the best. I get comfy and lay on it. Most likely even after you see the dentist you will have to keep this regiment up. It seems like you are going to need a root canal. The dentist will give you antibiotics to get rid of the infection but that won't stop the pain. I am going through the exact same thing now. I went to the dentist yesterday and got antibiotics and I have to come back in a week for a root canal. Unfortunately I still have to cope with the pain until then. I hope this helps you out.

A good thing to do would be to make a list of foods you like and eat those more often. That way, when you have to eat, you'll enjoy the calories. Muscle weighs more than fat, so that will help you gain healthy weight faster. I dont really know of a way to be hungrier, but I suppose you could try making delicious meals that make you want to eat. If you see food that you like, you'll feel hungry, even if in reality you aren't actually that hungry. Basically, you just want the taste. Im glad thay you are recovering from it. I can imagine how hard it must be and I desperately want you to succeed. It is great to know that there are people out there with the willpower to overcome anorexia. If one of the main reasons you dont want to eat is a fear of becoming fat, keep in mind that you burn calories just being awake. You even burn them sleeping. Dark red marks on foot arch, is it okay?

Well I've been working out alot, on my feet alot, and today I did a little over 3 hours of rebounding (mini trampoline) and when I stopped to take a break after the 3 hours I noticed there were long red marks all along the arch of my foot. I'm wondering if that's bad or if it just means it's irritated. If it's just irritated that's okay I just want to make sure I'm not really damaging my feet or anything. Because I need to do 2 more hours and I usually do 1 hour of jump rope as well and 2 workout DVD routines and some dancing so I just want to make sure my feet are okay and it's not a sign of an injury to come or anything. Also all the workouts I do are with bare feet, I refuse to workout with shoes on unless I'm dancing because they completely throw me off. Just got braces tightened and tooth moved already?

A few weeks ago maybe a month or two, my orthodontist put a spring in between two teeth while I had braces to make room for a tooth that was stuck way behind them and couldn't be attached to the wires. Well today was finally the day to have the spring taken off and have the tooth attached to the wire like all the other teeth. Well when I got home it hurt a lot so I took a nap hoping it would feel better when I woke up. I woke up about and hour ago and it hurt like someone was freaking pulling my teeth out with their bare hands.I looked in the mirror and my tooth that was behind the other was already forward and it the right place!!! So, is it normal for a tooth to move that fast in a period of just 4 to 5 hours?! I 've had braces since February and haven't seen any other teeth move that fast!

Single mum with a 21 month old daughter. is she hitting milestones?

My daughter and I have been alone together since she was 6 months old. She has been checked out by doctors and is hitting her milestones physicaly. I'm starting to worry now that her development with speaking and listening and following simple comands aren't what they should be. I work part time whilst she goes to nursery, and hoped that would help. How do i get my cat to accept a bath when he needs one?

He's a rescued cat we rescued him last November. Today he needed a bath. So i brushed him out, he loves to be brushed. He has a dandruff problem so i use a medicated shampoo for cats. But when i try to bathe him, its very hard because he tries to climb out, a/or cling onto the sides of the bathtub. He never bites or scratches, hes just afraid of the water. if you are looking for a really good makeup...i use dinair airbrush makeup and it is honestly the best makeup i have ever used. it works as a concealer and foundation on one, which is really nice because it blends really well and covers everything. also you only have to buy the one product...its awesome. it covers up everything and makes my skin look flawless...its also water based so its not bad for my skin...its pretty rad!

Go with clinique, I use it and its a real miracle worker. I used to have horrible acne but then I started going to a dermatologist, but unfortunately I was left with blemishes. I went to the mall and bought clinique because a friend said it was great and OMG she was right! I wouldn't really use Mac on a daily basis because in the long run Mac will cause you problems, as for bobbi brown I'm not sure, I have never used it. Try clinique I'm sure you will like it. What are some reason for TIME LAPSES? No drugs, drinking, anything.?

Hi guys, have a question for you. For a while now (at least a year) I've been having time lapses or what feels like time lapses. I've never done drugs, don't drink, have never smoked, and aren't on any kind of medication. Sometimes I may just be doing something, working, watching T.V., walking, and I forget how long I've been doing something. For instance, I can be at work at take a bathroom break. I know it only takes about 5 minutes for me to walk to the bathroom, use it, and walk back so I know a lot of time hasn't passed, but it feels like I've been gone for an hour or so. It's like I zone out, but it must only be for a few seconds or something. And sometimes I feel kind of disjointed, like disconnected from reality or something, like my head is spinning. I can't really explain it. It always affects my vision, like I can see but I can't at the same time, it's just funky, but doesn't last very long. Any ideas why this stuff would happen and keep happening? I'm not really worried, but I am curious of what it could be. Like I said, I have never done drugs, don't smoke or drink and am not medicated. Thanks if you have any ideas. =)

How do I punish my hyperactive toddler?

My 2 year and 7 month old is severely hyperactive. He almost never sits still. He is unlike any other child I have seen in that he has never sat down and played with a toy or a set of toys longer than 2 or 3 minutes. No matter how much we have attempted to expand his vocabulary, he can only speak a very limited number of words. We have tried many, many, many times to get him to share and play well with others but it still has not worked. We have given him time-outs, given all of the usual verbal admonishments, given small rewards for good behavior, and even resorted to spankings in extreme cases. He eats organic and no sugar added foods. We have remained consistent throughout his life. He still does not play well with others, refuses to share, refuses to listen, and throws tantrums almost every time he does not get what he wants. We are beginning to worry that he has attention problems or some sort of severe behavioral problem. We are at our wits end, trying to find some way to get him to behave. Are there any suggestions of alternative punishments or methods of calming down toddlers? We are hesitant to visit his pediatrician because we want to avoid medicating him at all costs, realizing that ADD and ADHD are often over-diagnosed. Any help or insight would be appreciated.

What can I get for my anxiety?

I am 16 and need something to treat my anxiety. The doctors I am seeing won't prescribe it because I "abused" small amount of it. I would self medicate on .25 mg doses and so they dont trust me with them or klonopin or Valium ect. Is there anything else that could work. The ssri and snri give me extremely worse depression when I take them. I've tried pristiq (3 months up to 50 or 100mg o forget) and Prozac aka the dick killer (went to 20 and they finally took me off it after 4 months of me having suicidal thoughts and cutting as well as over an over dose on ccc) I have been clean from drugs for a few months and actually havnt thought about them since Rly. But I just can't handle this anxiety. I literally am in a panic attack state all day if there is more then 2 people around me. Doctors and therapists think I'm fine though because 1 on 1 and small structured groups I do great in for somereason. Any help would be awsome.

We have central heat and air, and the 1$ menu from Mc Donald's. Our primal instincts search for challenges and finds little. Here in lies the development of depression and anxiety and ext. Lets add to that, pre packaged food and preservatives and pesticides, ext. If you cannot conform to "normal" then you medicate ad psycho- analyze, beginning at about 1st grade. There is really nothing inherently wrong with these adhd kids. Makeup artists i need your help!!?

Bad razor burn on bikini line. Help?

I shave my bikini line before I go out in the boat or to the pool, and I use lots of shaving cream and warm water. But no matter what I do, I always end up with red bumps all over the place. They are really noticable and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I use Bikini Zone medicated gell every time I shave there, but that doesnt really help that much. I have pretty bad gingivitis I was diagnosed with it awhile ago and brushed my teeth more and flossed and used special mouth wash but then my work schedule changed and I started having to get up at 4 in the morning and slowly but surely I stopped remembering to floss or use the mouth wash. Well my gums are now worse they look raw on one side of my mouth and I have 2 small ulcers on my gum line where the raw ones are. Dog is licking his underarm/paws! Watz wrong?

My shihtzu started to lick all his 4 legs. And his skin are red. On his underarm i noticed that some hairs are gone and theres like some flaking on d roots of his hairs. Tiny Rash-Like Bumps ALL OVER My Face!!!?

About two days ago I woke up and my face was broken out. It was definitely NOT acne. It looks like a bunch of little bumps all over my face (i.e. chin, cheeks, forehead, behind my ears). They're dry and flaky and quite irritating. They're not itchy, but they kind of make my face feel tight (this is the best way I can describe it, so bare with me please). So my mom thinks I'm having an allergic reaction to something new in the house...which could be a possibility of things!! I just recently got a kitten last week. I have had cats before and nothing like this has happened. Although allergies can take effect at any time. But if that's the case, then why isn't the rest of my body broke out? Especially my hands? Then there's the new face cleanser that my sister bought (which that's what I think it is). She has really bad allergies so she bought a new L'OREAL skin cleanser (go 360 clean deep facial cleanser). I have only used it once. I used it that night and woke up with my face like this the next morning. But it's been two days and my face has only gotten worse!! Maybe it was something I ate. I do have a peanut allergy. But I can't recall anything that could have even possibly had peanuts in it. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! Could someone at least give me a home remedy so that I could make this go away?! It's killing my self-esteem and I'm already sort of depressed. Will I ever regain motion in my right arm?

I have been having pain in my right shoulder and can't raise my arm. I get pain in my right side neck as well and feel extremely tired. The pain shoots to my elbow and if I try to move my arm I feel something pulling in my fingers. I thought it was maybe that I slept on it but I do remember slamming my right shoulder against the entrance to the bathroom. I am not fat but can be very clumsy at times. When I try to raise my right arm my shoulder rises so the shoulder is completely stiff. I went to the pharmacy today and asked the pharmacist what can I use for pain and he looked at me like I was crazy. I bought Icyhot medicated patch but the smell just gave me a headache. I suffer from low thyroid so I read on the internet that frozen shoulder is common in people with low thyroid. My arm feels extremely heavy so I have it on top of a pillow but my neck is also hurting. I am wondering did I damage something or is it some swelling from the bang. I don't feel extreme pain if left still but will consider pain to be a 3 from 1-10. The pain comes if I try moving the arm or help my 4 year old get dressed. The icy-hot patch just caused me more discomfort and pain. I am very active and lost 20 pounds so I weight 150 which is not considered too overweight.

How do I handle this situation with my brother?

My older brother (we are in our 50's) has been staying with me on my sofa for 6 months now. He doesn't seem to manage money well, spends it as soon as he gets it and seems to always be complaining about his aches and pains. He was suppose to stay only 2 months, but he was walking around like he was so ill with a cold, etc., that the stay lingered on. Hello, I'm 20 years old and I currently attend community college and work full time at Exxon. A lot of s**t has gone down in the past few months. I was caught with drugs by my parents back in April, they took away my debit card and control my money. I felt so bad the day I got busted that I blew my money on it (I wasn't addicted, I was self-medicating my ADHD with Adderall) I currently see a life coach to help me with my life but I still feel anxious all the time, I recently started Cymbalta and it does help a little bit. Anyway enough about that, I just feel so unsure and scared about my future and I have no interest in finishing college anymore, I wanna learn a trade in pest control because college is too hard. Is the smell from my turtle tank affecting my lungs?

I recently upgraded to a larger size turtle tank which also means that it is more inconvenient to clean. I'm only able to clean it about once a month and it always smells really bad. I have a good quality filter that clears up most of the waste but it still stinks. There is also a small patch of mold on the rock that my Turtle uses to sun bathe on. My warts WON'T go away!! Help?

I'm now fourteen and I've had warts since I was 7. There is a large one on my knee, multiple on my right thumb (6 in a clot, one in the middle, and one on the other side.), one on my right middle finger, one on my right pointer finger, and one on my left middle finger. I've tried everything - duct tape, medicated wart pads, liquid nitrogen, etc. They come off and the skin is normal, but they reappear in the same spot again. For the past three or four months my 21 month old daughter has been getting sick to her stomach every few weeks. Now she is getting sick more frequently. What to do, my dad has depression?

Over the past couple of years, my dad has been heading in a downwards spiral. It all started, really with the death of his brother, he was extremely close to him and it was a huge loss not just for him but for me. My dad has terrible back pain due to an accident he had over 10 years ago, which caused him to slip a disk in his back however it never got sorted and he has arthritis at the base of his spine, he is in constant pain and is heavily medicated. It's been a month or two since the drinking started, and its not just a beer or two, it can be as many as 4 bottles of wine a night. He then breaks down in tears and gets angry. It's an awful state to see, not only for me but for my 10 year old brother, who doesn't have a clue at what's happening, i realise this isn't very descriptive but witnessing it is much more of an impact. My family, is pretty much dis functional, if i'm being honest, my mother and father have never gotten along, and my mother isn't the most compassionate person ever. She seems to think it will just fade away but i highly doubt it. My dad has also been saying some quite terrifying things about ending his life etc. I headed downstairs just earlier on, and he was in tears talking about his first wife, who died and who he said was his true love and how much he hates life now, with my mum. Its just hard to be okay with your dad saying that when your mum is upstairs. I just don't know what to do, its taking its toll on its family, and is personally having a negative effect on myself. For the past couple of weeks, my attitude at school has changed, i'm not showing any interest any more, and i tend to cry myself to sleep, i don't want to come across like i want a sympathy vote as i'm really not the attention seeking type, i just need some advice on what to do.

I have tried SOOOO many concealers for the very dark circles under my eyes but none of them seem to work. I have tried benefit erase paste, that mac one and a tooon of drug store ones. Okay, so we got my dog 6 months ago & we got her at the age of three because the people who had her had to give her up because they were getting to old for the dog. Anyways! When we got her she peed on the floor but she got used to the house and scratched at the door when she needed to go out and we let her out. Then all of a sudden about a month ago she just peed wherever she wanted to & whenever she did , we showed her the pee and hit her on the nose (not hard). We checked her out for a urinary tractinfection. & they gave us all that we needecd to medicate her with and it helped aalot until a couple weeks later .. she will pee all over the place now ; wherever she wants !! now we keep showing her the pee and hitting her (not hard) on the nose & we lock her up.
