Looking for good, inexpensive make up brushes.... ?

I'd love mac or Bobbi brown or something but just can't afford it rt now. I have some sonia Kashuk and elf bit not that impressed. Also what brushes do you think are must have for eye shadow......also do you use a kabuki brush? Do I need one? What do you use it for?
